Two extraordinary openings at the National Museums of Lucca for the new edition of GEP2021- European Heritage Days:
On Saturday 4, 11 and 18 September 2021 the National Museums of Lucca, Palazzo Mansi and Villa Guinigi on the occasion of the celebrations of the "September of Lucca" will be open to the public also in the evening from 7.30pm to 10.30pm and on Monday
Saturday 3 July for "European Museum Night" the National Museums of Lucca will exceptionally remain open in the evening from 7.30pm to 10.30pm, ticket of 1 euro (in addition to the free admissions provided).

From Sunday 14 February 2021, the National Museums of Lucca, Palazzo Mansi and Villa Guinigi, will close for the next two weeks.

For the day of San Paolino, Friday 12 July 2019, the National Museums of Lucca, Palazzo Mansi and Villa Guinigi will be closed to the public.
Saturday 22 June, Thursday 11 and Saturday 13 July the National Museums of Lucca, Villa Guinigi and Palazzo Mansi will also be open in the evening, in addition to the normal time, from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm (last admission 10).
From Thursday 6 June 2019 the National Museums of Lucca, Palazzo Mansi and Villa Guinigi, are open from Tuesday to Saturday with an admission at 9.30am and from 12.00pm to 7.30pm (last admission at 7.00pm).

On Thursday 24 January 2019 the Palazzo Mansi Museum will be closed for roof control work.
Until January 12, 2019 in the Chapel of the Palace will be exhibited an ancient Nativity scene with statues, from the seventeenth-nineteenth century, made of wood, papier-mâché and silk clothes, from the Renata Frediani collection
